Refund Policy

We want you to be satisfied with CloneICP. This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work.

1. Subscription Cancellation

You can cancel your subscription at any time. Here's what happens when you cancel:

  • Your subscription will remain active until the end of your current billing period
  • You will not be charged for the next billing period
  • You can continue using all features until your subscription expires
  • After expiration, your account reverts to the Free tier

To cancel, go to your Account settings and click "Manage Billing" to access the Stripe customer portal, or email us at support@cloneicp.com.

2. Refund Eligibility

We offer refunds under the following conditions:

2.1 First-Time Subscribers

If you're a first-time subscriber and not satisfied with CloneICP, you may request a full refund within 14 days of your first payment, provided:

  • You have used fewer than 5 searches total
  • You have not previously received a refund from us

2.2 Technical Issues

If you experience persistent technical issues that prevent you from using the Service, and we are unable to resolve them within a reasonable time, you may be eligible for a prorated refund for the unusable period.

2.3 Duplicate Charges

If you are accidentally charged twice for the same subscription period, we will refund the duplicate charge immediately.

3. How to Request a Refund

To request a refund:

  1. Email us at support@cloneicp.com
  2. Include your account email address
  3. Explain the reason for your refund request
  4. If applicable, describe any technical issues you experienced

We will review your request and respond within 2 business days.

4. Processing Time

Once approved, refunds are processed as follows:

  • Credit card refunds: 5-7 business days to appear on your statement
  • Processing time: Refunds are initiated within 3 business days of approval

The exact timing depends on your bank or credit card company. If you don't see the refund after 10 business days, please contact us.

5. Exceptions

Refunds are not available in the following cases:

  • Excessive usage: Accounts that have fully utilized or nearly utilized their monthly search quota
  • Account abuse: Accounts suspended or terminated for violating our Terms of Service
  • Chargebacks: If you initiate a chargeback with your bank instead of contacting us, we cannot process a refund and may terminate your account
  • Promotional pricing: Subscriptions purchased at promotional rates may have different refund terms as stated at the time of purchase
  • Partial months: We do not provide refunds for partial months after a subscription has been active for more than 14 days

6. Downgrading

If you downgrade from a higher tier to a lower tier:

  • The change takes effect at the start of your next billing period
  • No refund is provided for the current billing period
  • You retain access to higher-tier features until the period ends
